PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

 

Manager   2010-2014

 

 

 

Managed regional and brand category of all color groups, i.e., Face, Eye, Lip and Nail group.

 

  • Restructured and led the initiative of the Restage for the “Color Trend brand” with sales targets of $77MM.

  • Managed the strategies of new product development, shade work, claims and prototypes

  • Worked with Internal and external groups to define new technologies that can be utilized in the development of new products

  • Successfully created a strategic time line in developing formulas, generate claims and product scale-ups for the Face, Eye, Lip and Nail category

  • Ensured a smooth product transfer of formula conception and launch


Manager    2010-2014 

 

  

 

  • Additional Manager Responsibility for Global Eye category

  • Provided technical and analytical support for all Color Eye Concepts

  • Successfully led and delivered a $60 MM initiative of Big Volume Mascara

  • Managed the restage of “True Color ES”, applied creative and strategic skills to complete project withtight time line and limited resource

  • Engaged in the conceptualization and development of new technologies to drive new business opportunities

  • Led a quarterly competitive intelligence analysis and communicate finding to upper management

  • Lead person for brochure executions and artwork approval

Manager for Global Nail Category

 

  • Guided marketing team to translate product concepts into breakthrough formulations with key attribute and consumer’s relevance claims.

  • Led cross functional team and gained alignment in the design and implementation of new test methods for Nail wear pro plus NE i.e. “Superhit killer” claims

  • Developed new technologies to ensure a continuous pipeline of first to market products and drive more innovation in nail treatment line, feed new possibilities to marketing and R&D team.

  • Effectively communicated project risks and develop more backup options for high priority projects.

  • In order to ensure products meet launch requirements, established a great alliance with all matrix team, i.e., Outside vendor, Legal, Clinical, Toxicology, Consumer science, Regulatory and Microbiology Dept.

  • Created and led highly engaged and energized Innovation team within the matrix category, this team was responsible to run a competitive analysis and develop breakthrough blue sky products.for creating highly motivated team

  • Maintained a regional and domestic competitive intelligence in regards to Claims, new ingredients, new technology and types of packages

  • Managed vendor relationship also led a quarterly brainstorm meeting that includedVendors, Marketing, Supply chain and R&Dteam

  • Member of the Core Management Team, responsible for:- Business Plans- Product & Technology Strategy- Capital Investments- Organizational Effectiveness

  • Led the development and execution of Super Extend Mascara.

  • Managed the conception and launch of the break through Patent pending Anew Lash Growth Serum.

  • Led the complex and breakthrough new half-baked ES technologies,

  • Provide technical support to Marketing for claims and brochure executions

  • Led multiple cross functional formulation teams of scientists to deliver cosmetic prototypes from concept to launch for next generation Face Foundation and Face Powder products utilizing latest optics technology

  • Developed the first powder to liquid foundation

  • Led a cross functional initiative to identify novel film forming technologies for breakthrough Ideal Flawless liquid foundation.

  • Developed face powder initiative for acne problem; however the challenge for this concept was not only to solve the acne problem but create a unique delivery system for moisturizing.
